The Executive Parish Pastoral Council (EPPC) and the Parish Finance Committee (PFC) at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish are made up of (1) Dr. C. Mumma-Martinon: Pastoral Council Moderator; (2) Mr. Silvan Opiyo: Assistant Moderator; (3) Mrs. Bernadette Ngina: Secretary (4) Mrs. Catherine Okoth: Assistant Secretary (5) Mr. Gonzaga Lung’aiya: Treasurer. The chairman of the executive in any elected group in the parish is the Father In Charge and his delegates are the moderators.
Some of the Functions of Executive Parish Pastoral Council (EPPC)
Some of the functions of the EPPC are:
- To assist the church’s apostolic work in evangelization; sanctification, charity, social work and Catechesis.
- Enhances communication from different levels of the parish to the faithful and vice versa.
- Assist the Father in-charge in Parish Administration.
Some of the Functions of Parish Finance Council (PFC)
- Coordination and implementation of all aspect of accounting for the parish.
- Drawing the parish annual budget of income and expenditure and financial statements.
- Helping the pastor to draw the parish inventory.
- Helping and preparing parish accounts books and presenting them to the PPC annually.
- Making or organizing investments and fundraise for the parish
- Advising the priest in matters of safe guarding parish properties and assets
