The seven sacraments in the church are;
- Baptism – Incorporation of a person in Christ Body as God’s Child.
- Eucharist (Communion) – Reception of the Body and Blood of Christ.
- Confirmation – A Christian is confirmed in his or her faith, often in the teen years.
- Reconciliation (Confession) – Confessing sins to a priest and receiving God’s Mercy through reconciliation.
- Anointing of the Sick – Anointing of Holy Oil designated for healing and comfort of the sick.
- Holy Orders – Ordination of priests, deacons, and bishops.
- Matrimony – Couples solemnize their union in marriage.
Requirements for Receiving Sacraments

Baptism
Baptism at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Adams is usually administered every 4th Saturday of the month except January, November and December
Infant Baptism
- Original or copy of the birth certificate
- Parents should be bona fide members of the Parish
- Godparent must be a baptized practicing catholic (Present a photocopy of the Baptism card and a copy of ID or Passport)
- Should attend 3 consecutive Baptism classes which are held on Saturdays as from 12:00noon to 1:00pm.
Adult Baptism
- Original ID card/Birth Certificate
- Should be a bona fide member of the Parish
- God Parent must be a baptized practicing catholic (present a photocopy of the Baptism card)
- Should attend Adult Catechumen lessons.
First Holy Communion
- One should have Catholic Baptismal Card
- Contribute a registration fee
- Should attend Catechumen classes held on Sundays
- Contribute a facilitation fee
Confirmation
- One should have a Catholic Baptismal Card
- Contribute a registration fee
- Should attend Catechumen classes held every Sunday
- Contribute a facilitation fee
Sacrament of Matrimony
- Interview with the parish priest to guide in the wedding preparations
- Should have a Catholic Baptism Card
- Birth Certificate
- National Identification Card
- At least one should be a practicing Catholic at Our Lady of Guadalupe
- Should attend 9 lessons of Pre-Cana Instructions plus rehearsal.
Renewal of Sacramental life
- Interview with the parish priest. Welcome.
