Rev. Fr. Roberto Gomez, MG, is the Assistant Father In-Charge of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. He was born in Zacatecas; Mexico and is a devoted Missionary of Guadalupe(MG). He has dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel and serving needy communities in Peru, Kenya, Mozambique and Mexico.
Fr. Roberto first arrived in Kenya in 1994, embracing his missionary calling with great zeal. He was appointed as the Father in Charge of Christ the King Parish in Kibera, where he played a key role in pastoral leadership, evangelization, and community development. After years of service, in the year 2004, he was called to serve in different missionary roles across various regions in Mexico.
In January 2025, Fr. Roberto returned to Kenya to take up his new role as Assistant Father in Charge at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. With a wealth of experience in pastoral ministry and missionary work, he continues to serve with humility, dedication, and a deep love for the people focusing on interreligious dialogue.
